AIA Canada Design Awards
The AIA Canada Design Awards celebrate excellence in architecture and design by AIA Canada members and emerging professionals. Presented annually, the program recognizes projects that demonstrate exceptional design thinking and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of architecture and the built environment.
Through the Awards, AIA Canada honours work distinguished by design excellence, innovation, resilience, equity, and beauty, while showcasing the breadth of architectural practice represented by our members in Canada and beyond.
Award recipients are celebrated through AIA Canada’s publications, programs, and Annual General Meeting, providing national and international opportunities for recognition and engagement.
Award recipients receive:
- Publication in the AIA Canada Society Journal, published within Canadian Architect magazine
- Feature on the AIA Canada Society website
- Invitation to present their award-winning work through the AIA Canada Society Webinar Series in 2027
- Recognition at the AIA Canada Annual General Meeting
- International recognition opportunity: one Award of Excellence recipient will receive complimentary entry into the 2027 AIA International Awards Program
