Rommy Rodriguez has worked in the not-for-profit sector for over 18 years now, where her focus has always been to represent and promote individuals and their design careers. First, as the Outreach Coordinator of the Ontario Crafts Council for 4 years and for the last 14 years as the Associate Executive Director of the OAA Technology Program, formally known as the OAAAS. Here, her role encompasses every aspect of the management of the organization, from member services, certification, launching of special programs to promotion and marketing initiatives. All in an effort to raise awareness of the organization within Ontario and highlighting the essential role that Architectural Technologists hold within the architecture profession.
It is with these 14 years of experience within the architecture field, that she now joins the AIA Canada Society, as the Executive Assistant to the Board. Her goal – to assist in the execution of the AIA Canada Society’s mission ‘to represent and deliver programs and services to its architect and associate members, in order to continue ‘advancement and development in the profession’.’
Rommy looks forward to meeting the AIA Canada Society Members.
